About this puzzle
The bold geometric forms in *Basic Geometry* look almost like pieces of a sculpture or a collection of objects waiting to be assembled. Marjorie Schick was interested in exactly this kind of visual tension, using simple shapes to explore how we experience space, balance, and form. Although her work is often associated with ceramics, she pushed the medium far beyond the idea of a traditional functional vessel.
